| ⚜️ Mark Your Calendars: World Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee – Jan. 10, 2026. | World Athletics The World Cross Country Championships is the oldest event in the World Athletics Series, tracing its roots back to 1903. The 46th edition marks its return to the U.S. for the first time since Boston hosted in 1992, with New York also staging it in 1984. Over 400 athletes from 45 nations, including the Athlete Refugee Team, will compete in 5 exciting races: men’s and women’s U20 and senior races, plus a mixed relay. ✨ The logo reveal marks another exciting milestone in Tallahassee’s journey to host the event. The vibrant design reflects Florida’s energy, natural beauty, and identity as the Sunshine State. It features orange and orange blossoms to honor the state’s agricultural roots, the sabal palm to highlight scenic landscapes and 700 miles of trails, and flowing water to represent Florida’s abundant rivers and coastline. 🍊🌊🍃 Apalachee Regional Park, home to a nationally renowned cross-country course, will host the championships and welcome athletes and spectators from around the world.
