OWN A PIECE OF OLOGY

📢 Become part of the expansion of a craft beverage company that is making a splash throughout the Southeast. | Ology Brewing Co.

  • Ology began in June 2017, rooted in Head Brewer Nick Walker’s passion for craft beer and background in science and sensory research. Nick started homebrewing and soon partnered with longtime friends Paul Woodward and Brian Clark. Together, they built Ology around their shared enthusiasm for creating a wide range of beverages, including Hazy IPAs, BA stouts, lagers, fruited sours, unique rums, and coffee.

  • Over the past seven years, they have expanded from one taproom to four locations, developed an award-winning spirits line, and gained retail placements in Publix, Whole Foods, and other stores.

  • They are seeking to raise funds through a community round on Wefunder to support their growth. Early backers can receive a 10% bonus in units, which is available until they hit $150k. Additionally, they have some fantastic perks available, such as the opportunity to work alongside their Master Distiller to create a very own custom whiskey. 🤩

  • They are utilizing this funding to keep up their remarkable momentum: achieving 50% growth year-over-year since their inception. They plan to broaden their grocery presence, enhance their sales team, and boost production capacity, all while remaining committed to the community that supported them. | Projected Revenue

🍻 Fun Facts:

  • $4.2M in revenue last year

  • 75+ Publix stores today — growing to 100+ this year

  • Stocked in Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and thousands of bars and restaurants in Florida

  • Awards from Best Florida Beer and participation in top beer festivals including Mikkeller and the Great American Beer Festival

  • Grown 51% annually over the past 7 years. Now scaling their footprint across the Southeast

BRYCE MORRISON

🏆 Bryce Morrison from Ocala has been chosen as the recipient of the Webster Young Innovator Award. | Florida High Tech Corridor

  • Bryce Morrison, who serves as the director of business development for the Ocala Metro Chamber & Economic Partnership (CEP) and an entrepreneur, has been named the latest recipient of the Daniel Webster Young Innovator Scholarship Award.

  • The $5,000 scholarship, presented by The Corridor at the Florida Economic Development Council’s annual conference, supports a young innovator in Florida pursuing the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation. Awarded on May 15 in Port Charlotte by Florida High Tech Corridor CEO Paul A. Sohl, the scholarship was established in 2015 to honor U.S. Rep. Dan Webster’s contributions to economic development in the state.

  • Morrison, 30, is from Niceville, Florida, and moved to Ocala in 2016 to earn an associate’s degree in business administration from the College of Central Florida. In addition to being a director of business development for the CEP, he also owns Strategic Drone Services, the exclusive video provider for the Florida Duke Energy Economic Development Site Readiness Program since 2022. At the CEP, he led the award-winning "Live Life Here" campaign, supported by a $10,000 monthly Google Search grant, which attracted professionals in high-demand industries to the area. 👏

  • “My role in Florida’s Economic Development has been deeply fulfilling,” Morrison wrote in his essay for the Webster award. “I get to market some of the best industrial sites in the state, as well as those in communities with fewer opportunities. Helping rural communities’ market their industrial assets is the most rewarding part of the job because every bit counts, and the potential for impact is immense.”
