Serves as the online portal for the Minority, Women, and Small Business Enterprise (MWSBE) certification program managed by the Office of Economic Vitality (OEV) in Tallahassee-Leon County, Florida. In todayβs competitive business landscape, MWSBE certification sets your business apart from the rest. OEV is dedicated to building an inclusive business ecosystem in Tallahassee-Leon County. Beyond certifying new firms, they offer continuous support and resources to MWSBEs, helping them thrive in a competitive market. They also foster professional relationships to create collaboration and growth opportunities, boosting the region's economic vitality. Why Certify? Certified MWSBEs will be featured in OEVβs Online Directory for Certified MWSBE Vendors, where City and County departments and other businesses access vendor information. Who Is Eligible? Your business may be eligible for an MWSBE certification if the company is: At least 51% owned and controlled by minorities or by women. Located in Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson, or Gadsden counties. A for-profit business must have been established for a period of one (1) calendar year prior to submitting its application for MWSBE certification.
