| | βΎπ€© Jazzy Francik wins another ACC Softball Pitcher of the Week award! | FSU Wire For the second time this season, FSU softball's true freshman Jazzy Francik has received the ACC Softball Pitcher of the Week award, the conference announced the honor last week. She previously won the award on April 15 and is now alongside Lacey Waldrop as the only true freshman from Seminole to win this award more than once in a single season. She is the fourth Seminole to win a weekly award this season and the first to win it multiple times. She made history by becoming the first pitcher from FSU to achieve a no-hitter against a ranked team, leading the Seminoles to an 8-0 victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies in just six innings. She issued three walks and struck out three batters. Francik is also the first true freshman to accomplish a no-hitter since Lacey Waldrop did so on February 12, 2012, against Ole Miss. Francik has become one of the top pitchers in the conference, currently leading the ACC with an ERA of 1.64 and 7 saves. In conference play, she stands out as the best pitcher, boasting an EFA of 1.40, which is the lowest in the conference and the only one under 2.00. Save the Date: Noles are hosting Regionals as the #5 seed. Catch them at Joanne Graf Field from May 16th to 18th. | FB Post | Tomahawk Nation
