Pending approval by the State of Florida, the project is set to serve residents of Bay and Walton counties.β FSU will partner with Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) to lease and operate the new hospital, ensuring long-term quality and alignment with community needs. The hospital will be located on 16.5 acres of land donated by The St. Joe Company, at 1002 North Arnold Rd. at the intersection of Hwy. 79 and Philip Griffitts Senior Pkwy.β The first phase will include up to 180 beds and provide a range of services, including emergency care, general surgery, diagnostic imaging, and specialized treatments like cardiac care, neurology, and orthopedics. An Academic Clinical Collaboration Agreement will support clinical research and medical education, enhancing FSU's graduate medical programs and fostering the development of healthcare professionals in the region.
