Under the desert sky, the band delivered a fierce rendition of Scott’s hit “4x4,” igniting the crowd with their signature precision and energy. Dr. Shelby Chipman, director of the Marching 100, described the moment as “bigger than a stage—it was a cultural crossroads,” highlighting the band's role in bridging musical worlds and showcasing the rich legacy of HBCU bands. This collaboration underscores the growing recognition of HBCU bands in mainstream music, offering a platform for their artistry on a global stage.
