Your single Amber Grant application also makes you eligible for any of their other grants. | Learn More For the month of July, they are giving a grant to a woman who is in the Animal Services Business. WomensNet draws inspiration from women who channel their skills and passions into purpose-driven business models, particularly those that support pets and animals. π©·π Women make up the largest group of individuals engaged in animal rescues, therefore, itβs not surprising that they also represent the majority of proprietors in businesses centered around animals. Women are transforming their passion for animals into various careers, ranging from dog walkers to veterinarians. If youβre a woman in the animal service enterprises who need extra boost to elevate your products or services, apply here for a chance to win this grant. Β

| | π₯ SkyTL Secures NASA Contract to enhance wildfire response system. | Fire Tech Connect via LI Tampa-based startup, SkyTL, has successfully secured a research contract with NASA to enhance their groundbreaking wildfire response system, TAGS (Target Acquisition and Guidance System). Under the leadership of founder and CEO Rocio Frej Vitalle, SkyTL is utilizing AI to integrate data from drones, planes, and ground teams, offering firefighters an up-to-the-minute, predictive map of a wildfire's trajectory. This innovative technology has already been crucial in supporting firefighting operations in Northern California and shows great potential for reducing the increasing risk of wildfires in Florida and nationwide. π βIn the past, we didnβt have the data or technology to run accurate science models for operational decision making. Now we do, and we believe cutting edge science and intelligence should also be accessible to emergency responders, utilities, and communities, who are the ones making every day decisions to protect each other from wildfires,β Vitalle said on her LI post.
