🐾 Fur-ever Remembered: Mural Honors TMH’s Animal Therapy Program | Tal Dem

• Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare marked 40 years of its Animal Therapy program with a vibrant mural by local artist Nancy Upthegrove, featuring a dog, a cat, a rabbit, a horse, a bird, and a guinea pig.

• What started as a single support team has now grown to 225 volunteer teams serving over 150 facilities. The program brings comfort to hospitals, schools, courtrooms, and hospice centers.

• Stories from volunteers and TMH leaders highlight the program’s legacy of connection, joy, and healing, reminding us that care comes in many forms, sometimes with four paws.
