| | 🐾 Fur-ever Remembered: Mural Honors TMH’s Animal Therapy Program | Tal Dem Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare marked 40 years of its Animal Therapy program with a vibrant mural by local artist Nancy Upthegrove, featuring a dog, a cat, a rabbit, a horse, a bird, and a guinea pig. What started as a single support team has now grown to 225 volunteer teams serving over 150 facilities. The program brings comfort to hospitals, schools, courtrooms, and hospice centers. Stories from volunteers and TMH leaders highlight the program’s legacy of connection, joy, and healing, reminding us that care comes in many forms, sometimes with four paws. 🤍 Want to support the program?
