🌟 Savannah Jefferson Joins KPMG as Director | Florida Daily KPMG announced veteran government executive Savannah Jefferson as its newest Director, bringing deep experience in public affairs and legislative outreach to the firm’s Tallahassee-based government services practice. Jefferson most recently served as Director of External Affairs for Governor Ron DeSantis, where she led statewide engagement and strategic outreach efforts on behalf of the Executive Office. Her career also includes senior roles with the Florida Hospital Association and Volunteer Florida, where she advanced public policy, legislative relations, and community impact initiatives. Jefferson’s appointment comes alongside several team promotions at KPMG’s Tallahassee office, underscoring the firm’s continued investment in Florida’s leadership and public-sector expertise.

This year’s inductees continue that legacy: Belle Yates Bear, a force for inclusion and philanthropy in Pensacola; Mary Brickell, Miami’s visionary founder and advocate for Native and Black communities; and Dotti Groover-Skipper, a lifelong champion against substance abuse and human trafficking.
