💸 The She-E-O Sweepstakes: Two Grants to Fuel Your Big Idea Every great business starts with a big dream, but it's cold, hard cash that keeps the servers humming. This week, we’re spotlighting two funding opportunities, one for the tech-focused disruptors and one for aspiring, new, or experienced small business owners. For the STEM Superstar: WomensNet is dedicating their November business-specific grant, a cool $10,000, to women in the STEM space. If you’re building the next great app, tackling IT security, or pioneering a SaaS product, this one is tailored for you. Why It Matters: While women make up half the workforce, they represent only 27% of STEM workers. Grants like the Amber Grant are designed to help these women entrepreneurs break the glass ceiling and secure funding that traditional avenues often overlook. A Universal Opportunity: Need cash flow fast? The $2,500 Galaxy Grant from Hidden Star is an opportunity for all small business owners. The best part? The application takes approximately 30 seconds and is completely free. 📅Deadlines: Amber Grant: Nov. 30, 2025 at 11:59:59 pm ET | Apply Galaxy Grant: Nov. 30, 2025 | Apply

| | STORY OF THE WEEK THE MAN & THE WHITE ROSE |
| |
🌹The Man with the White Rose After helping an immigrant family, a local woman stopped by a gas station on S. Adams Street and met Ezekiel, an older homeless man sitting by the door with a delicate handmade white rose. Crafted from toilet paper and a twig, the rose symbolized grace and humanity in its simplest form. Ezekiel didn’t want money, just something to eat, and in exchange, offered a gift. Moved by his kindness and creativity, she shared his story on Nextdoor. A reminder that even small encounters can lead to moments of connection and compassion. You can find Ezekiel and his roses at the Circle K on S. Adams past Orange Ave.
